13 year old, Lauren Gill has attended Lakehouse Music Academy since she was 8 years old, where she started playing drums and guitar in the “Get Started” program. By age 9, Lauren was promoted to participate in a Jr. Core band where she played Bass Guitar, Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, and was a lead singer. That same year, Lauren was also asked to audition for the elite Jr. Pro’s band, and was awarded the Lead Singer position in that band, where she remains to this day. Lauren has performed at every major venue in the area including The Stone Pony, Wonder Bar, Asbury Lanes, Two River Theater, The Saint, House of Independents, and more. In 2016, Lauren and her band performed in over 60 shows, and received 3rd place in the Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day parade, representing Lakehouse. Most recently, Lauren and her Jr. Pros band performed at the Prudential Center, in front of a crowd of over 16,000 people. Currently, Lauren remains in Jr. Pros on lead vocals, her core band (also lead vocals), and the band Sharpstone (artistic contributor / song writer and lead vocals). Lauren has had the privilege of writing original music with Brother Andrew, Natalie Newbold (Dollys), Tor Miller, Ray Suhy, Bryan Haring and Meg Cannon. Lauren enjoys writing punk, indie rock and rock and writing about world issues and everyday life.
