Just 6 Hours is an alternative rock band originally formed in 2014 by bassist Gordon Sine with fellow students from Music and Arts in Lawrence Township, NJ. Lead vocalist/guitarist Seth Barnett joined on in June of 2015 and the band is now based out of the Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park. A shakeup in the band just before a gig at the Saint in Asbury Park resulted in Lakehouse veterans Nick Marrotta, and Anthony Giordano joining the group on lead guitar and drums in the spring of 2017. With only three 2 hour rehearsals leading up to the Saint show, the reinvented band took the stage and performed a powerful set with only six hours of rehearsal. Since that first show at the Saint, Just 6 Hours has performed at major venues across NJ including Boontunes, House of Independents and The Stone Pony. They have also been performing regularly at Brighton Bar in Long Branch supporting legendary national acts such as Manitoba NYC (The Dictators), The Toasters and Statues of Liberty. With influences that range from Nirvana, Green Day and Pierce the Veil to Black Sabbath and Metallica, the J6H sound includes lyrics that are thoughtful and emotional along with a combination of powerful rhythms supporting aggressive guitar driven melodies.

As an original member of the MOTO Records community, J6H recorded and released their first EP H.O.P.E. in early 2017, which is available on all the major music streaming services. In December 2017, the group returned to Lakehouse Recording Studios to record their new EP Sober and released it in April 2018.
